Connect to Forge, before the deadline
Atlassian Connect reaches end of support on 31 January 2027. Connect apps have not been able to ship updates since 31 March 2026. For Marketplace apps the move is mostly done; for in-house apps that companies built for themselves, it is often not started.
Atlassian's own advice to those companies is blunt: you need the source code, and without it the app may have to be rebuilt on Forge from scratch — ideally with a Solution Partner. We provide Forge development capacity to partners who have those clients and would rather not staff a migration team for a few months.
What we do
Assessment — free for the first app
We read the Connect descriptor and the code and tell you which modules move as-is through Connect-on-Forge, which need rework, and what has no Forge equivalent yet. You get a written plan and a fixed price — here is what one looks like.
Migration
Incremental where possible — Connect-on-Forge first, then module by module until nothing depends on Connect — or a clean rebuild when the source is missing or rebuilding is cheaper.
Under your brand
We work in your client's environment, under your NDA, and the client relationship stays with you.
Price
$45 per hour, or a fixed price per app after the assessment.
What we have built on Forge
- Notify for Google Chat — a Jira app with event triggers, an admin page, encrypted secret storage and a single declared egress host. Submitted to the Atlassian Marketplace; review in progress.
- Mermaid Diagrams for Confluence — a Confluence macro with a live-preview editor, rendered entirely inside Forge with no egress and no scopes. Forge confirms it as eligible for Runs on Atlassian.

What we do not claim
We are a small studio, not a large consultancy. We have not migrated hundreds of apps, and we will not pretend otherwise; our Forge experience comes from building and shipping our own apps through Atlassian's review. If an app is too large for us to deliver on your timeline, we will tell you so in the assessment rather than after we start.
