End User Terms
These terms govern your use of the app. By installing or using it you agree to them. They apply in addition to the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use.
1. What the app does
The app sends notifications about Jira issue events to Google Chat spaces that you configure. It requires read-only access to Jira and cannot modify your Jira data.
2. Your responsibilities
- The room addresses you enter. A Google Chat incoming webhook address is a credential: anyone holding it can post to that space. Enter only addresses for spaces that should receive your Jira data.
- What you send where. You decide which projects and which people a rule covers. Make sure the people in a room are entitled to see the issues you route to it.
- Your Google Workspace. Incoming webhooks require Google Workspace, and whether they are permitted is your organisation's setting, not ours.
3. Third-party services
The app delivers messages to Google Chat. Google's terms and privacy policy govern what happens to a message after Google receives it. We are not responsible for Google's availability, retention or handling of delivered messages.
4. Availability
The app runs on Atlassian Forge and depends on Atlassian's platform and on Google Chat being reachable. We do not guarantee that every event results in a delivered message: events can be dropped by the platform, and Google can reject or throttle a request. Where a delivery fails, the app records the failure on its settings page so that you can see it.
Do not rely on the app as the only channel for anything safety-critical, time-critical or legally required.
5. Data
How the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Licence
Subject to a valid Marketplace licence, you may install and use the app within your own Atlassian sites. You may not resell it, or attempt to extract or reuse its code outside that permission.
7. Support
Support is provided by email at support@winnowtools.com. We aim to respond within two business days.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the app is limited to the fees you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss arising from a notification that was delayed, misdelivered or not delivered.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it, which also removes its stored settings.
